AQS Quilt Show in Charlotte, NC

Hello quilty friends!

I had a great time going to the AQS Quilt Show in Charlotte, NC! I met two of my "quilty" friends on Wednesday, Debbie Voight and Laura Davies for a class on Fantabulous Feathers taught by Gina Parris-Perkes.

Two "Gina's" in one room and both of us "Gammill Girls".  We had a wonderful time and I had lots of fun getting to play on the new Vision2 Gammill Machine in the classroom.

On Friday, I returned to take a class on Henna Stipples taught by Sharon Schamber. I have wanted to meet this lady for a long time and totally admire her work.

I came home and tried my own Henna Stipple type quilting on a table runner that I made.

Looks nothing like Sharon's, but I am happy and had fun quilting it....and that my "quilty friends" is what it is all about!

Thanks for letting me share!
Happy Quilting!
Gina

  2. I loved that class. So much fun and Sharon Schamber is just packed full of tips and shares them through the whole class. My head was swimming to days with all that I had learned...about all kinds of quilting things!
