Brenda's Beauty

This quilt belongs to my friend, Brenda. Beautiful hand applique.  She said it is from the pattern "Beyond the Cherry Tree" by Sentimental Stitches, but she only used 12 of the 25 blocks and used her own layout. When she brought it to me to machine quilt her only instructions were to quilt on the applique, lots of detail and quilting....my favorite!
So, I went to work doing what I love to do!

Detail work on some of the applique'....

 Tiny feathers in the border...that is a quarter laying on the quilting .....I love tiny feathers!
